With an away game at Brechin coming up for the Diamonds this Saturday, the Neil Love Supporters Bus will once again be ferrying the Diamonds army to cheer the boys on.
Leaving at 10.30am from Cue Here, one of our official Club Partners – pub owner Gary Cunningham has run the bus for over ten years now.
The bus is named after Gary’s best friend and well known Airdrie fan Neil Love, who sadly passed away seven years ago, and who helped Gary run the bus for the initial part of its 14 year tenure.
A typical away day involves leaving Airdrie in plenty of time so as not to miss kick-off, and generally being booked into a hotel or bar in the visiting town who will provide a buffet.
Gary is keen to stress that everyone is welcome on the bus, including single travellers or families. Everyone is welcome, with quality buses with air con and toilet facilities. The atmosphere on the bus is fun and lively, and those travelling alone won’t be long in finding a friend.
Gary is keen to praise local bus company McCreadies’ coaches, whose flexibility over the years has helped the bus continue and also to keep the costs down for fans. And as Gary stressed... the more fans who use the bus, the cheaper it is for all, and the more support we can give the team at away games.
To travel on Saturday's bus, or to be included on the distribution list for all future games, please contact Gary on 07803747331, by email on firstname.lastname@example.org, or pop into the pool hall at 37-39 Hallcraig Street and leave your contact details.
