Chairman's message
22nd May 2012
The Club would like to thank all our supporters for their backing in 2011-12 campaign.
It was a shame that we could not get over the last hurdle but it was a great achievement to get to the final bearing in mind where we were in January.
Jim Ballantyne lamented "Sunday was so hard to take after all the hard work that had gone in to give us a chance.
"We never came close to the same form that we had shown against Ayr, and Dumbarton were deserved winners. We wish them all the best.
"The hardest part was that after some excellent performances, we finally get the crowd out for the final (2100 home fans) and we were unable to deliver, but we will come again."
He continued "However, we cannot sit about moping and the hard work begins again immediately. We can confirm that we have signed Alan Cook, 20, who was with Stirling last season"
Jimmy continued "I have always liked Alan every time we played against him both with Stirling, and Dumbarton before that. He is a player who is not afraid to run at defences and will be a valuable addition to the squad."
