Stenhousemuir match preview

30th September 2011

AIRDRIE are looking to make home advantage count when they face Stenhousemuir tomorrow.

The Diamonds welcome the Larbert men to the stadium on the back of last weekend's 1-1 draw with Stirling Albion.

Boss Jimmy Boyle has his sights set on collecting three points and has given the squad his backing after three matches without a win.

The manager said: "I've watched the Stirling game on DVD again and I thought we looked tired both mentally and physically.

"We made a lot of stupid mistakes out there and didn't do ourselves any favours at times.

"I know people are a bit concerned at the number of points we've picked up from our opening seven league games.

"But I still believe in these players and hopefully we can turn things around in the next few weeks."

The Diamonds expect to have the defensive duo of David Lilley and Paul Lovering available for selection but Ally Woodburn (thigh) and Graeme Goodall (knee) are injured.
