Under 17s striker Liam Coogans was drafted into the Reserves as they made the trip to Annan on Tuesday night for the first tie in the SFL Reserve Cup.

Manager Jimmy Boyle had put Liam on the bench before and watched him in action in several youth games, but this time he was handed a start.

The young team were 2-0 down in the 44th minute when a good chance fell to Liam and he headed into the net.

​

In 50 minutes Liam added a second, and he completed his hat trick on 85 minutes.

On the 90th minute he rounded off his night with a chip over the keeper.

The Reserves finished up 4-2 winners with no doubt as to the man of the match.
