IT'S BEEN A YEAR SINCE YOU SIGNED YOUR FIRST PROFESSIONAL CONTRACT - HOW WOULD YOU SUM IT UP? 
Obviously it hasn't been the best of seasons because we've been relegated but for me to get time and start playing has been pretty good.

HOW LONG WERE YOU IN THE YOUTH TEAM BEFOREHAND? 
I was in Stevie's team for a couple of months and then I was playing reserve games on Monday nights too after youth games on Sunday.

HAS IT BEEN GOOD PLAYING WITH OTHER YOUNGER GUYS IN THE FIRST TEAM? 
Yeah, you don't feel left out with all the 'older' ones. But Sean Lynch has been helping me because he plays the same position, so he's been teaching me a lot. I get a few pointers here and there from others but when it comes to positional information he's great.

YOU'VE PLAYED BOTH CENTRE MIDFIELD AND ON THE WING... 
When I first started I played right-midfield and I played pretty well, so thought I can play there. But my position is centre-midfield, where Lynch plays, and Steven Hetherington's there on loan from Motherwell as well.

DO YOU FEEL YOU'VE STEPPED UP TO THE PLATE? 
I think I've been doing alright. Obviously I've had bad games but everybody does.

WHAT DID YOU MAKE OF THE DUMBARTON GAME LAST WEEK? 
Again, there was the bad habits of conceding goals we shouldn't be and also making bad decisions at the wrong times which has cost us the game. We didn't really take our chances, but we didn't really have any.

YOU TOOK YOUR CHANCE AGAINST THISTLE THE PREVIOUS WEEK AND SCORED YOUR FIRST GOAL. WHAT WAS THAT LIKE? 
It was a great feeling, but to get beat in the last two minutes obviously made it feel not so good. But they're a really good side. They're probably the best side I've played against all season, because they pass the ball about and always seem to be in space. They use their full-backs a lot so when I've been on the wing there has been a lot of running. That's how they attack.

HAVE YOU GOT A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIS O'NEILL, THE FULL-BACK BEHIND YOU ON THE WING? 
Aye, me and Chris are good friends off the pitch as well, always talking and training together. He just joined at the start of the season when I stepped up so we didn't really play together in the youths but training together all the time has made us used to it.

YOU'RE SIGNED ON FOR NEXT SEASON, WILL PLAYING AT A 'LOWER' LEVEL HELP PROVE YOURSELF A BIT MORE? 
Because we're going down the teams might not be as good as they have been this year. There'll still be good players but hopefully I'll still get some game time and hopefully we'll kick on from there.

THERE'S ALSO THE SMALL MATTER OF PLAYING RANGERS AT SOME POINT... 
Obviously that will be really hard, they're still full-time and a really good team. But to play them will be amazing, at Ibrox as well.
