Brian's Kenyan Return
30th April 2015
Ex-Diamond Brian McPhee was a hero on the pitch during his two spells at the Club - now the former striker is heading back to Kenya to tackle a very different challenge.
Brian raised funds to visit the African country last year on a humanitarian mission, and the 44-year-old is aiming to return in November to offer further help to the children of Nakuru.
In order to raise the £1,700 required to fund the trip, Brian will once again grace the New Broomfield turf as a team of former Airdrie players and guests take on a Diamonds fans XI.
The match will take place on June 7th, and the fans team will be organised by Paul McDonagh, Willie Marshall and Dougy Allsop who can be contacted via the Supporters Trust.
Two "guest" places in Brian's team are going up for auction, and further details will be released shortly.
The game will be open to the public with a £3 entry fee.

Brian told us "I would like to thank the Airdrie fans who donated and helped out last year.
"Hopefully they will do the same this year!"
