Kevin McBride joins the Diamonds

We are delighted to announce that midfielder Kevin McBride has become the latest player to sign up at New Broomfield.

McBride (34) brings with him a wealth of experience, having played most of his career at the top level in Scotland.

Most recently with Dundee, Kevin was a youngster at Celtic before spells at Motherwell, Darlington, Falkirk, Hibernian and Hamilton. He has clocked up well over 200 first team appearances over his career.

Diamonds manager Gary Bollan said: "I am delighted to get Kevin signed up as he fits the bill for exactly the role I needed to address in midfield.

"I have been keen to get that extra bit of experience in such a key role, and Kevin has that in abundance.'

Kevin goes straight into the squad for the Petrofac Cup tie versus Annan.
