Top comedian lends support to Trust
8th February 2017
BAFTA-winning comedian Ricky Gervais has added his support to Airdrieonians' Supporters Trust's fundraising campaign - by donating a signed Airdrie shirt for auction.
The English funnyman - the brains behind hit shows The Office, Extras and Derek - learned the story of the Trust's shirt sponsorship through friend Ross Owen, an Airdrie supporter who hosts an online radio show.
On hearing of Mark Allison's astounding fundraising efforts, and the Trust's decision to honour Mark through the unique kit sponsorship deal, A-list celebrity Ricky was only too happy to sign one of the limited edition strips for auction.
You can bid for the shirt on eBay by clicking here. All proceeds go to Airdrieonians Supporters' Trust.
