First team squad players John Higgins and Murray Loudon have joined junior side Cumbernauld United on loan.

The pair have joined up at Guy's Meadow until January 3rd, and head coach Kevin McBride is pleased to see two of his prospects gaining valuable first-team experience.

"We've sent them out to get competitive games under their belts, the main thing was that we didn't want them just to be playing Under 20s all the time.

​

"The Development League is great for bringing the younger boys through, but John and Murray are going to be playing in games where there's something at stake.

​

"It's important that they get used to that so that when I call upon them, I know that they've had first-team experience".
