Bathtopia are thrilled to be backing Airdrie with a new sponsorship deal.

The bathroom installation company will have their name emblazoned on the Diamonds' away shorts, part of the new all-black away kit which will be worn for the first time today.

Bathtopia owner Allan Hamilton was at Ravenscraig to launch the deal yesterday, and the delighted Airdrie diehard told us all about his company and his love for the club.

"I formed Bathtopia in August 2011 after the bathroom company I previously worked for collapsed without warning.

​

"We are a bathroom installation company who pride ourselves on installing quality bathrooms at reasonable prices. We manage all aspects of a bathroom installation including design, supply, tiling, plumbing, plastering and electrics.

​

"I got involved with sponsoring Airdrieonians because the time felt right for Bathtopia - and Airdrie are my team! I've been attending games with my Dad since around 1989 when Coyle, Nipper and Graham Harvey were banging in the goals.

​

"The years have provided a mixture of results and emotions but the future is looking very bright with Mr Wotherspoon at the helm. Every aspect of the club seems to be taking steps in the right direction.

"Off the field the commercial department and community projects are breathing new life into the club whilst on the pitch, full time football, training at Ravenscraig, bringing through the younger players and the coaching team that is now in place are all having a positive effect on the team.

"So much so that this is the first season I can remember where I've yet to hear anyone have a go at the gaffer during a game so Kevin McBride must be doing something right!"

'It took a while to really establish Bathtopia but i feel we are finally there and getting involved at Airdrieonians really shows that we have taken the company to a new level. I look forward to further sponsorship ties in the future."
