Airdrie's Academy sides got their pre-season underway on Sunday as all four age groups reported for their first training session.

The squads are doing three sessions per week as they prepare for their new campaigns, and Academy Director Alan Upton told airdriefc.com: "The boys made a great start with the full support of all their parents.

"Hopefully we can produce another wee Diamond!"
