Diamonds in town for Airdrie Fair Day
29th June 2016
As part of our ongoing mission to make our club the heartbeat of our town, we are going to be present at this year's Airdrie Town Fair.
We see it as a fantastic opportunity for the club to get closer to our supporters and give them a chance to meet some of our players.
Come to our stand at the Fair between 10.00am and 11.00am to meet our First Team Coach, Kevin McBride and the following players: Mark Fitzpatrick, Scott Stewart, Dean Cairns, Ciaran Reilly and Craig Truesdale.
The lads will be encouraging visitors to support them throughout the coming season for which we have ambitious plans and a very clear vision.
We will be also promoting tickets to the Partick Thistle game (£12 adults, £6 concession) and sharing some exciting news about season tickets.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Airdrie Town Fair Organiser, Jack Duffy for facilitating this great event.
Meanwhile, the Supporters' Trust will be launching their third annual Football Strip Amnesty, in conjunction with the KitAid charity, for whom Airdrieonians are an ambassador club.
Over 50,000 school children in North Lanarkshire have been given information in the last two weeks on the project, where they can hand in any piece of unwanted football kit and receive a voucher for a free season ticket for all Airdrie home league games next season.
In addition to this, club mascot Rocky – fresh from his first trip to the dry cleaners – will be around for photographs. There will also be facepainting and brand new merchandise for sale.
It promises to be a great day, so let’s see as many Diamonds out in force as possible, wearing your colours, and painting OUR town red.
