Bankhouse return to fill back of away shirt
May 9, 2018
Bankhouse Dental Care are the latest company to renew their association with the club, by extending their sponsorship of the away strip (back) by a further year.
The Dental Practice, located at 17 East High Street, are now in their third year of involvement with the club, after initially coming on as club partners in 2016/17, and then increasing their commitment to strip sponsorship last season.
The practice is owned by Brian McMillan and Iain Maudsley, who also own St. Leonards Dental Practice in East Kilbride and Bannockburn Dental Practice in Stirling. They took over the practice in 2015, and immediately moved it from its old Broomknoll Street base to its current address, offering greater accessibility to patients due to its ground floor location.
They are a family dental practice and offer a full range of NHS and private treatment options in a friendly relaxed atmosphere, with ample parking beside the clinic.
Iain told airdriefc.com: “We at Bankhouse are delighted to be renewing our sponsorship of Airdrie for the 2018/2019 season.
“There is a nice sense of community spirit created by supporting your local team and at the same time you are provided with a platform to network and promote your business.
“Airdrie is a great club with a passionate support, chairman and board, and some promising footballing talent. With the help of more local businesses backing the club and an increasing fan base, it would be great to see Airdrie FC return to its previous heights.”
Commercial Manager Douglas Allsop said: “Iain, Brian, and the rest of the team have been fantastic since they got involved with the club, and of course, it helps when you have a diehard Diamond like Stacey McDonagh on your staff!
“The staff – men and women – are all big football fans, and they have enjoyed coming along to the games and seeing behind the scenes. Their service is second to none – I’ve seen this first hand as my daughter attends, although it will take a lot more to get me along (#terrified)
“I think it says a lot of not just Bankhouse, but all of our sponsors, that despite one of the most unsettling periods in the club’s history, that they have all stuck by the club and either renewed their sponsorship, or indeed, invested more. We must be doing something right, and I’m delighted that Iain and Brian can see where we are trying to take the club.”
