In a busy evening in the Excelsior boardroom, the Development squad was also strengthened last night with the addition of former Rangers prospect Jordan Critchley.

 

Development coaches James Grant and John Boyle moved to sign the promising 16-year-old midfielder after he had impressed in training recently.

 

Jordan also featured as a trialist in Monday evening's 4-0 Development League West win over Clyde.

 

Coach James Grant told airdriefc.com: "We're delighted to sign Jordan, he's a great addition to the squad and we're looking forward to helping him develop his full potential."
