We are delighted to announce that Bankhouse Dental Care have extended their commitment to the club, by stepping up from club partner to one of the sponsors on the back of the away shirts.

Based in East High Street, the practice have fully embraced the club and were a great support in their first season with us.

 

Well-kent faces among the staff include programme seller Stacey McDonagh, and Airdrie Ladies player Jane O'Toole, while co-owner Iain Maudsley and dentist David Comiskey paid to play in Brian McPhee's charity game in the summer.

 

The entire practice visited the Boardroom last year, and were hugely impressed with the Sensory Room and our expanding presence in the local community. Indeed, by the end of that visit, Iain had diagnosed and advised Scott Stewart on how to cure his toothache, and had booked chairman Jim Ballantyne in for a check up the following week!

Iain explained the decision to increase their involvement with the club: “Bankhouse Dental Care are delighted to be supporting and sponsoring Airdrie FC in the 2017/18 season.

"When we were approached to promote our club partner status to become a club sponsor we jumped at the opportunity. The new sponsorship allows us to help our local club and increase our practice profile within the community. It’s a win for both sides”.

Bankhouse Dental Care has been an established dental practice in Airdrie for over 50 years. Formerly in Broomknoll Street, the practice moved to The Bankhouse in 17 East High Street in October 2015.

The completely refurbished premise offers modern family dentistry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

There are five dentists caring for the 6,500 registered patients. They offer a full range of NHS and private treatment options from simple fillings to cosmetic crowns and veneers, professional teeth whitening, and dental implants.

Iain advised: "Prevention is always better than cure, and our focus is on preventative dental care by recommending and providing regular examinations, hygiene instruction and advice. This helps us to prevent fillings before they are required."
