Donald departs for pastures new
August 13, 2017
Coach Donald Jennow has left the club as he takes up a career outside of football.
Donald joined the club at the beginning of 2015/16, initially helping out with the Under 20s, but was soon promoted to a first-team coaching position.
Having remained throughout a number of managerial changes, Donald played an important role at the club and his presence will be missed on the training ground and in the dugout.
After his final match, yesterday's draw with Arbroath, Donald spoke to airdriefc.com:
"Airdrie gave me my first opportunity in senior football, so I'm grateful for that and I'll remember my time here fondly.
"I thanked the players after the game for their great respect and work ethic, and reminded them that they have the best job in the world and they should enjoy that."
Everyone at the club would like to take this opportunity to thank Donald for all his hard work, and to wish him all the best with his new career.
