Airdrieonians FC would like to offer deepest condolences to the family of former club chairman Campbell Craig, who passed away last night.

A prominent Airdrie businessman, Mr Craig became chairman of the club for a short time in January 1999.

Mr Craig was a lifelong fan of Airdrie and was first appointed to the Board of Directors in January 1996. The club’s new chairman, Bobby Watson, said: "This is a terribly sad time for Mr Craig’s family and we offer them our deepest sympathies."
