Dundee goalkeeper Kyle Gourlay has joined Airdrie on an emergency loan deal until January.

With Matthew Kerr expected to be sidelined for a number of weeks with a knee injury, the Diamonds coaching staff moved to bring in cover for the number one position.

​

19-year-old Kyle, a regular for the Dees Under 20 side, gained some first-team experience in a loan spell at Clyde at the tail end of last season.

​

With the paperwork complete, Kyle goes straight into the squad for tomorrow's trip to Arbroath.
