Prunty returns to join backroom staff
November 10, 2018
Bryan Prunty has made a third return to the Diamonds to join Ian Murray's backroom staff.
The fans favourite is Airdrie's top scorer since the reincarnation of the club in 2002, and has recently qualified as a sports therapist - a skill he is delighted to be bringing to the Diamonds.
Bryan told airdriefc.com: "It's been a surreal couple of days since I spoke to the manager. He's obviously a new manager with new ideas, and he's given me the opportunity to come back.
"There's no better place for me to be, and the sports therapy won't be my only job - I'll be looking to help out wherever I can. I'm over the moon to be back."
Bryan joins the squad for today's trip to Stranraer as the Diamonds aim to get back to winning ways in League One, and we're sure he'll be welcomed back with open arms!
The club would like to place on record their thanks and apprecation to the Supporters' Trust, whose generous sponsorship helped Bryan's appointment to be completed.
