We are pleased to announce the signing of four hot prospects on senior contracts.

 

Central defenders Scott Dunn (18) and Joshua Burke (17), midfielder Aidan Meechan (17) and striker James Hughes (16) committed their immediate futures to the Diamonds today, signing on at Penny Cars Stadium under the watchful eye of Academy Manager Scott Black and Director of Football Stuart Millar.

 

Stuart told airdriefc.com: “As a club we’re absolutely delighted, these moves showcase the pathway from the academy to the reserves and the senior squad.

 

“All credit to Scott Black and his coaches at academy level, we’re thrilled that these boys have decided that their future lies with us.

 

“They’re not just good footballers, but they’re terrific young men and we’re looking to develop both sides of that.”
