We have today agreed mutual contract terminations with midfielder Ryan Conroy and striker Scott Thomson.

 

Both players had expressed their wishes to move on following interest from other clubs, and we have agreed to allow both players to leave with our thanks and best wishes.

 

Midfielder Ryan (32) joined the Diamonds in July 2016, going on to make over 100 appearances for the club. The former Celtic, Dundee and Raith Rovers player scored 15 goals in an Airdrie shirt, and picked up the Players’ Player of the Year Award in 2017.

 

19-year-old striker Scott has been a prolific goalscorer at youth and reserve levels, and has made ten substitute appearances for the first team. Having spent time out on loan in the second half of last season, Scott was keen to move on to gain more first team game time.
