With the Legends vs Allstars charity match at Penny Cars Stadium just weeks away, Airdrieonians main sponsor Holemasters are giving free tickets to local schools to give as many people as possible the chance to attend.

Schools including Dunrobin Primary (Hilltop Primary), Petersburn Primary, St Edwards Primary, Tollbrae Primary and St Dominics will benefit from the gesture.

Jim McArthur, managing director of Holemasters said: “Last year’s event was a great day out. We recently completed work on the new Hilltop Primary (Dunrobin and Petersburn) and we’re still working on the new Tollbrae and St Edwards schools, so it was a good fit to be able to give something back.”

Ross Owen, who is co-ordinating the match in aid of Airdrie Community Trust, said: “I’d like to thank Holemasters for doing this. It’ll mean a lot to the kids and it helps add to the buzz and excitement of the day!”

The tickets will start making their way to schools over the next week, and we hope to see you all at the game on June 22!

With pre-match entertainment and a chance to see your favourite celebrity take on some football legends for the Community Cup, it’s sure to be a great day out for everyone.
