A new Scottish football book entitled “Football’s Faithful Fans” is now available - complete with a chapter on the Diamonds!

 

The book, edited by Iain Whyte, focuses on the supporters - men and women, girls and boys whose commitment has often been likened to religious devotion. 

 

Football's Faithful Fans, which is raising money for projects in Africa through the Homeless World Cup, gives Scotish supporters a chance to say what fitba' means to them: hopes, dreams, rugged belief and sometimes sheer desperation. It's funny, thoughtful and entertaining - a bit like the beautiful game itself.

 

Airdrie supporter Sandy Sneddon has contributed a chapter entitled “Diamonds are Forever”.

 

Available for £10 from the Club Shop at Penny Cars Stadium, all proceeds from the book’s sales go to the Homeless World Cup.
