Teen striker James Hughes has become the latest player to extend his contract with the Diamonds.

The 17-year-old forward joins Joshua Burke, Joseph Moore and Scott Walker in renewing his deal for the club after an impressive season in the reserves.

As a local lad, James grew up an Airdrie fan, and we are pleased to welcome back another young player who the coaching staff have high hopes for as he aims to make the first-team breakthrough.
