On July 23, radio host Ross Owen will be presenting a very special live broadcast celebrating the 20th anniversary of cult Scottish movie A Shot At Glory in conjunction with Airdrie Community Trust.

The film starred many Airdrie legends - alongside Hollywood megastar Robert Duvall - and focussed on the fortunes of the fictional Kilnockie FC on their Scottish Cup journey.

Former Diamonds John Martin, Owen Coyle, Sandy Stewart, Jimmy Boyle, Kenny Black, Alan Lawrence and Andy Smith were among an intriguing cast led by Godfather star Duvall and Scotland legend Ally McCoist.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the movie’s release Ross, in association with Airdrie Community Trust will broadcast a special edition of the Ross Owen Show live on YouTube, where he’ll be joined by Coyle, Stewart, Martin, Lawrence, Duvall, McCoist and more.
