We are delighted to announce the loan signing of striker Kyle Connell, who joins from Kilmarnock until January subject to the completion of paperwork.

19-year-old Kyle signed a professional contract at Rugby Park last August, having previously been on the books of Motherwell and Blackburn Rovers.

Having already made one first-team appearance for Killie, the teen prospect joins the Diamonds in search of further experience.

Manager Ian Murray said: “We’re delighted to welcome Kyle to the club. He’s a player who can hold the ball up and the link the play, and he adds to our attacking options.

Stuart Millar added: “Kyle is a player who is very highly thought of, and I’d like to thank James Fowler, Alex Dyer and Andy Millen at Kilmarnock for entrusting us with their player.”
