We are delighted to announce that the club has agreed terms with former East Fife player Craig Watson.

Watson, who can play in defence or midfield, spent seven years at Hamilton Academical before signing for the Bayview club in 2017, going on to make 110 appearances over a four-year spell.

The 26-year-old agreed terms on a one-year deal at the Penny Cars Stadium earlier today, and manager Ian Murray was pleased to sign a player who he has admired for some time.

“We’re pleased to get Craig, who has always been a stand-out whenever he’s played against us.

“He’s a versatile player, so we’re looking forward to discussions about where he wants to play and where we think is best to play him.

“We had good dialogue this morning. I enjoyed meeting him and getting it over the line and we look forward to working with him.”
