We are pleased to announce the loan signing of Dundee United midfielder Rhys Caves.

17-year-old Airdrie native Caves is highly-rated at Tannadice, and we are delighted to have been able to bring the talented youngster into the squad in time for today’s match at Peterhead.

Manager Ian Murray said: “Rhys has been training with us recently, and we thank Dundee United for their co-operation.

“He’s a good young player who operates predominantly in midfield, and we’re pleased to offer him the experience of being in a first-team setup.

“First and foremost he’s very good on the ball, and we look forward to working with him and improving him as a player.”
