Following further positive Covid cases within the club, Saturday’s home fixture against Queen’s Park has now been postponed.

An SPFL statement read: “Saturday’s cinch League 1 match between Airdrieonians and Queen’s Park at the Penny Cars Stadium has been postponed.

“Airdrieonians requested that the SPFL postpone the fixture as, due to positive Covid cases and close contacts, they do not have sufficient players available to fulfil the fixture.

“An SPFL spokesman said: “After reviewing the information provided by Airdrieonians, Saturday’s match between Airdrieonians and Queen’s Park has been postponed. A new date for the fixture will be announced in due course.”

Tickets and streaming passes purchased for the postponed match against Queen's Park will remain valid for the rearranged fixture, which will be announced in due course. Queries should be directed to enquiries@airdriefc.com.
