We are delighted to announce that work has begun on the installation of a new state-of-the-art playing surface at the Excelsior Stadium.

The main pitch playing surface is being replaced, a project which will take five to six weeks to complete. The installation of the Greenfield MX Elite woven surface, favoured by Premiership and top European clubs, is a vital part of our investment programme in upgrading and maintaining our facilities.

Meanwhile our stadium-naming sponsorship with Penny Cars has come to an end, and the stadium name officially reverts to Excelsior Stadium. We are in discussion with other possible sponsors regarding the stadium naming rights. We would like to extend our thanks to Penny Cars for their sponsorship and support.
