We are pleased to announce popular Airdrie cash and carry AS Davidson as sponsors of our new-look training and warm-up kit.

The wholesaler, based in the town’s Viking Road, will see the Diamonds squad sporting their familiar diamond-shaped logo during pre-match warm-ups and training sessions - and the logo will also be present on replica warm-up tops sold in the club shop as we spread the word on our new partners.

Commercial director Gordon Watson met with Aga and Simon Varley (pictured) to confirm the sponsorship agreement, and he told airdriefc.com: “We have always had a close relationship with Davidson’s cash and carry - however since Simon and Aga took over the business, that relationship has flourished.

“We are delighted with the backing that Simon and Aga have given us, and we’re already looking at other opportunities for the upcoming season.

“At Airdrieonians we like to support local businesses who support the football club - and Davidson’s have been amazing with their support.”
