We are pleased to announce that Cade Melrose, Cameron Rowley, and Elliot Dunlop have returned to Airdrie following successful loans at Bo’ness United, Broomhill and Stranraer respectively.

All three youngsters were a considerable success at their loan clubs, and return to the Albert Bartlett Stadium hoping to push for first-team contention with the Diamonds.

Goalkeeper Cade said: “I really enjoyed my spell at Bo’ness. It was a good experience, and it was good to get some game time under my belt and to develop my game.”

Defender Cammy added: “It was valuable experience in men’s football for me, and it’s a good positive to be coming back for the rest of the season.”

And midfielder Elliot said: “It’s good to be back. My time at Stranraer was great, but hopefully I can get some minutes now at a higher level and really test myself.”

Manager Rhys McCabe was pleased to welcome his three hot prospects back to the club.

“All three boys have done really well, and the game time will be of huge benefit to them.

“It’s important now that we have a healthier squad, so they’ll come back here knowing that positions are up for grabs and they’ve all got that confident mentality that means they’ll be hopeful of making an impact in the team.”
